A mixed media piece: Film Photography, Digital, Screenprint, Waterless Lithography.

Inspired by a cross country trip, The Real is an experiment in process and blurring the lines between the digital and physical sphere. The film strip distortion is made by moving the film on the scanner as it operated. The man is from a photo, traced on a computer, printed physically from a waterless lithography plate. The ticket is printed and then physically drawn on silkscreen cells. Throughout my trip in the Canadian Rockies we were as far from our digital lives as could be. Yet, we always took photos for our digital audience - our digital and physical selves are seamlessly blurred.



Make & Packaging

  • Prints vary from their sibling prints due to their hand printed nature.

  • Each print is signed, dated, and editioned in pencil on the front.

  • Printed on archival paper with acrylics and/or oil ink.

  • Print comes unmounted / unframed unless specified otherwise.

  • Print comes in a oversized envelope.
